Kay Veinotte has
had a great deal of experience with horses. She has worked
with heavy horses in the logging industry; with Thoroughbreds
- Hunter/Jumpers and race horses at the track. She has
worked as a groom and was taught by some of the best and
(the worst) trainers in the horse business.
Today, Kay offers
her years of experience to her many students of all levels
in a variety of disciplines of riding and driving.
Kay
is especially keen on teaching driving and the showing
of harness horses. "Driving
a horse is as easy and natural as riding a bike," she says. "It's
a great way to revitalize an older, spoiled or sour horse.
It's also great for those of us who have a few miles on
us; they don't have to worry about balance or being injured
by falling off." And, she adds, "It's a perfect way for
the new horse person to begin a life with horses.
Kay's goal is to
breed and train fine horses and the people who own and
care for them. She takes all breeds for training, and tries
to take all humans. |
